Welcome to Seddon and the Peanut Butter House

We hope you enjoy your stay with us!

Below you’ll find some info about the home plus our top tips for discovering Seddon and Melbourne’s west.

If you need us any time, please don’t hesitate to text Gabrielle on 0432 681 377.

  • Wifi Peanut p.w. Peanutzz!

Induction cooktop switch Just to the right of the sink on the wall in between the light switches.

How do I open the gate to go out? Push the keyhole button in.

Where are the aircon remotes? There are three remotes in the house - one for the living room (on coffee table), one for the front bedroom (on wardrobe shelf) and one for the middle bedroom (on bedside table).

Can I get a late checkout? Checkout is 10am but we might be able to accommodate later so please text and ask if you need more time.

Can I use the front door? Please don’t! It’s best to keep it locked and use the back entrance only - we do not have keys for the front so it poses a security risk if left unlocked.

Is there extra toilet paper? Yes, in the drawer next to the toilet.

Is there a hairdryer? Yes, in the cupboard under the bathroom sink.

Is there an iron/ironing board Yes, iron is in the laundry sink and the ironing board is in the middle bedroom wardrobe.

Dishwasher Run the dishwasher on auto and dry+ and make sure you let the cycle finish completely before full opening (dry cycle will open door slightly before finishing).

Television/streaming The TV remote should be on the coffee table. Please log into your own streaming accounts via the TV ‘home’ page and log out when you leave.

Where can I park my car? There are unrestricted parks on Alexander Street and Werner Street. All other parks are 2hrs so please move car regularly if in one of those.

    Are there any house rules?

Please no parties, loud music or loud noise - we love and respect our neighbours.

No smoking or vaping inside or outside the property including on the rooftop deck. Penalties will apply if this rule is broken.

Please respect our home and leave it as you found it, including placing dirty dishes in the dishwasher, removing all food from the cupboards, fridge and freezer and placing all rubbish in the outside bins.

Please leave used towels hanging in the bathroom or in the laundry sink.

Please refrain from eating in the bedrooms.

On departure, please turn off lights and heating/aircon, lock the back sliding door and gate and return the keys to the lockbox, scrambling the code.

  • We recommend The Happy Apple and Pompello in Seddon, Plump Organic Grocery in Yarraville and The Footscray Market.

  • So many things! It depends what you are into. Catch a train from Middle Footscray station and you’ll be in the city in 10 minutes - hop off at Flagstaff to explore The Queen Vic Market. Catch a movie at The Sun Theatre in Yarraville. Walk across to the Yarraville Gardens for a picnic. if you have kids, check out Scienceworks in Williamstown, The Melbourne Museum in Carlton or the Melbourne Zoo in Parkville. There are honestly endless options but whatever you find yourself doing, we hope you love exploring Seddon and the west - in our (not so humble!) opinion, it’s the best place to base yourself in Melbourne.
